The 2004 National Sci & Tec Award Ceremony took place in the People’s Congress Hall on March 28. President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao presented the award to the managers of 300 prize-winning projects. Three projects of Sun Yat-sen University win the second prize of National Sci & Tec Progress: Development and Industrialization of Infectious Agent Nucleic Acid Amplification(PCR)-fluorescence Kits, A Series Study on Orthotropic Liver Transplantation, and GPRS/GSM-PDA Mobile Data Terminal Software System, which fully demonstrates this university’s strength in research and technology innovation.
