Mr. Daniol, French expert in aerial route design gave a lecture titled “Tourism & Aviation” at the Tourism College, Zhuhai Campus, the morning of April 15. This lecture is part of the agreement between tourism schools of Angers University and Sun Yat-sen University, according to which both agree to conduct annual academic exchange program.

Through data on passenger increasing rate of major air routs, top five countries with fast increasing tourists and top five fastest-growing air markets, Daniol gave an analysis of the development of current air industry and pointed out that China, with the fast growing number of tourists, will surely witness a soaring air industry in the near future.

In his lecture, Daniol introduced the development trend of China’s airline industry, the main organizations, participants, three alliances, HUBS, as well as low cost airlines in international airline markets. He led the audience into a lively discussion on major airlines and airports in each air zone. After that, he went on to explain how HUBS multiply air routs with two maps, which is really an eye-opening illustration for the present students.
