SYSU-Omron Autoimmunization Innovation Laboratory Opens

 

 

The opening ceremony of SYSU-Omron Autoimmunization Innovation Laboratory was held at the East Campus the morning of June 2. Mr. Yasuhira Minagawa, President of Omron (China) Group Co. and SYSU Vice President Xu Jiarui took part in this event. In a symposium previous to the ceremony, both sides expressed their satisfaction with the initial stages of the laboratory and discussed ways of further cooperation.

Located at the Teaching Experiments Center of East Campus, the Omron-donated laboratory can not only meet varying requirements from undergraduate teaching, but also provide an experiment platform for graduates, teachers and technicians in the field of autoimmunization to carry out research on complex controlling system and intellectual controlling system.

The establishment of the laboratory symbolizes a successful cooperation between the university and company. The university-company cooperation model avails of university laboratory to attract noted companies to utilize campus resource, which in turn gives a great impetus to the development of disciplines concerned and introduces the latest technology in the world to the lab. Thus creates a win-win situation for both sides.
