University of Applied Sciences Berne Signs Cooperation Agreement with SYSU School of Engineering

A delegation from the School of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Applied Sciences Berne visited Sun Yat-sen University October 8, 2005. They met with SYSU Vice President Xu Jiarui and held talks with Vice Dean of the School of Engineering Zong Zhijian on issues as exchange of faculty and students, sharing academic resource, and cooperative research program. Both schools signed a framework agreemnt on cooperation.

The University of Applied Sciences is the best engineering university in Switzerland as well as a top-notch one even in the whole European region. The School of Engineering and Information Technology boats of the longest history and solidest strength among its various schools, consisting of divisions of Automotive Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical-and Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, as well as a batch of first-rate research institutes.
