Equality Issue in Social Transformation——Sino-Foreign Excellent Culture Forum on Public Management and Social Development Presents Third Lecture

 

Cosponsored by the Office of Academic Affairs and the School of Political Science and Public Administration, the Sino-Foreign Excellent Culture Forum on Public Management and Social Development presented its third lecture at the Swasey Hall the evening of November 3, which is part of the celebration for the 100th anniversary of the Political Science and Pubic Administration School. The lecture attracted wide attention both within and outside the university, and a standing room only crowd listened to the lecture titled Equality Issue in Social Transformation by Professor Cai He.

The lecture features the inequality issue resulted from the change of distribution mechanism during China’s social transformation, illustrating imparity from two aspects: the consequence and opportunities. A question-answer session brought the lecture to a climax, in which the audience and the lecture exchanged ideas on a lot of critical questions.
