Lingnan Logistics and Supply Chain Management Forum 2009 Held in SYSU

 

The Lingnan Logistics and Supply Chain Management Forum 2009 was held at Lingnan Hall in Sun Yat-sen University on 26 March, 2009. The Forum was jointly hosted by Sun Yat-sen University and the Economic & Trade Commisioin of Guangdong Province, organized by Lingnan College, and co-organized by Guangdong People’s Asscociation for Friendship with Foreign Countries. Cun Jinglong, advisor of Josai University, Qi Zhenli, vice director of the Economic & Trade Commisioin of Guangdong Province, and Yu Shiyou, SYSU vice president attended and addressed the forum.

Representatives from both Lingnan College and Josai University inaugurated the SYSU Lingnan College—Josai University Logistics and Supply Chain Management Research Institute and announced the establishement of SYSU Logistics and Supply Chain Management Development Commission. Prof. Wu Lifan, the dean of Lingnan College, presented the letter of appointment to the commission members, and exchanged gifts with Prof. Cun Jingrong from Josai University.

After the inauguration, addresses were presented by Dai Dingyi, vice chairman of China Federation of Logistics&Purchasing, Huang Youfang, director of Logistics Education Guidance Commission of Ministry of Education, Ye Ze Jian Ci, vice president of Josai International University, Cheung Waiman, director of Department of Decision Sciences & Managerial Economics of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Cao Chongren, CEO of Logistics and Supply Chain Management Research Center of Hong Kong and director of Dean’s Office of Josai University, Gong Jinxian, chairman of South Logistics Group Co.,LTD, Lu Lixin, General Manager of Annto Logistics Limited Company, and Dong Fannan, chairman of Mitsui&CO., LTD.
