Professor Xu Anlong Elected Vice-President for Asia and Oceania of ISDCI

Recently, International Society of Developmental and Comparative Immunology (ISDCI) formally informed SYSU Professor Xu Anlong that he had been elected Vice-President for Asia and Oceania of ISDCI.

Founded in 1976, ISDCI is an international organization renowned and prominent in the international academic community of developmental and comparative immunology. Its leadership election takes place every 3 years. From February to March this year, ISDCI carried out the re-election of part of its leadership. In the re-election of Vice-President for Asia and Oceania, Professor Xu Anlong stood out from the competition with Japanese scholars and won the position by a comparatively wide margin. The term of the office is 3 years which can be extended to the second term. This is the first time that a Chinese scholar has assumed such an important position as Vice-President of ISDCI.
