SYSU Achieved Excellence in the 10th “Challenge Cup”—Guangdong University Students Extracurricular Technology Opus Competition

 

May 22th-23th, the final of the 10th “Challenge Cup”—Guangdong University Students Extracurricular Technology Opus Competition was held in Southern Medical University. 829 Opuses from 69 colleges and universities run for the competition. At last, SYSU won the “Superior Cup”; Under the guidance of vice president Li Mengfeng, Student from School of Medicine Gu Minghui’s entry won the top grade award. Vice Secretary of the Office of the SYSU Committee of the CPC Zhu Kongjun attended and listened to the introduction of the contestants, affirmed the initiative of the university students with extracurricular activities, encouraged them to reach a pinnacle in science, make efforts to realize the science research dream, and devote their youth and wisdom to the development and innovation of Guangdong Province.

The opus of Tang Junliang from the School of Life Sciences and the opus of Wu Ziyan from the School of Information Science and Technology enter the Guangdong Science Centre for exhibition.
