Liang Qiuju Hall

Liang Qiuju Hall is the first building donated by friendly personnel outside the mainland to institutes of higher education in China since reform and opening. The corner stone was laid on November 20, 1982, and the ceremony for completion was held on October 27, 1984. Mr. Liang Qiuju, executive vice chairman of Hong Kong Dachang Trading Co. Ltd. and vice chairman of Heng Sheng Bank, donated 6 million HK dollars for the building.

Li Xiuyu Library

The library was constructed with donations by Ms. Li Xiuyu, wife of Mr. Liang Qiuju.

The first sports training base for college students in the Nation

Mr. Hok Yingtung, vice chairman of the National Political Consultative Committee and Honorary doctor by Sun Yat-sen University, has been actively supporting the University for the past years, and has donated money to build the Yingtung Stadium and the first sports training base for college students formally named by the Nation in Sun Yat-sen University.
