For detailed office hours, please see notice at the clinic.
According to the socialized medicine system of the university, faculty and students on the South Campus must see doctors at the Clinic if they are ill. If they would like to go to other hospitals outside the campus (including the main part and the South Division of the Second University Hospital), they have to go through transfer procedures as follows:
1. For in-patients who cannot be treated because of limits in expertise and equipment in the South Campus Clinic, they may be transferred to appointed hospitals after discussion by doctors in the department or suggestion by the head of the department and approval by deputy director in charge of medicine (except cases of emergency).
2. For patients deemed to be transferred by the doctor, they must be approved by senior doctor or higher (except cases of emergency), and a transfer note is issued to the designated hospitals for once only.
For reimbursement of the medical fees incurred at other hospitals, the transfer note must be presented together with the bills at the Socialized Medical Care Management Section of the Office of Finance and National Properties Management (address: third floor, clinic building, Tel: 84114118). Without going through the transfer procedures, all the medical cost outside should be born by the patient himself.
To facilitate the faculty and staff for going to the hospitals, a shuttle bus is operated among the main part of the Second University Hospital, the South Campus Clinic and the South Division of the Second University Hospital. Bus stop: the parking behind the building of arts.
