Island, the play selected and send by our school¡¯s Arts Education
Center, surpasses other competing works and wins the Outstanding
Performance Award, the top prize, at the 4th University Drama Festival
of China which closed on Aug 29, 2004.
Ten universities attended this festival, including the Central
Academy of Drama, Xiamen University, Macao University, Shenzhen
Univerisity. Fan Lihan and Chen Xi from SYSU Modern Drama Troupe, both
in 2001 grade, live up to our expectation and receive universal acclaim
with their outstanding performance of Island, the fourth play at the
festival.
